Rough-Throated Leaf-Tailed Gecko (Saltuarius salebrosus)
These are one of our favorite species that we keep, they're super cool! With a very bumpy skin texture, massive fleshy 'leaf' tail, huge claws for climbing, and an almost black tongue, they are surely a top species of most interesting geckos to keep.
Listing is for a single unsexed animal that will be well started and eating great. These vary from a light creamy gray base coloration, to a darker charcoal near black coloration depending on activity and stress levels.
Care is very similar to that of most New Caledonian species, with the exception that these only eat live food. We keep ours similar our crested geckos and offer crickets and B. dubia 3X a week.
